Merri Jo Cowen serves as CEO of Stellar MLS, the third-largest multiple listing service. In 2022, the company launched Stellar Central, a new, SSO-enabled sign-in experience that users can customize. That was the first phase in a plan to develop a data environment that is interoperable with the company’s products and with other products that brokers choose to use.

Stellar MLS added two new REALTOR® associations as shareholders in its regional MLS. The company is building an offer management platform with Skyslope and adding relevant tools, as well as a product that allows sight-impaired consumers to conduct voice searches.

Cowen is proud of her work as a leader and mentor in the industry. “Most rewarding is the opportunity to lead and grow leaders, both volunteer and staff, using my expertise and knowledge in the MLS world,” she says. “Working with leaders to bring vision to fruition.”
