RE/MAX 3000 Merges with RE/MAX Alliance to Create Formidable Aurora Real Estate Presence

RISMEDIA, Nov. 7, 2008-RE/MAX 3000, Inc., one of Aurora, Colorado’s leading real estate firms, has merged with RE/MAX Alliance’s Aurora branch to create a formidable presence in the Aurora and SE Metro Denver real estate market, the companies announced. The combined market share of the two offices effectively makes RE/MAX Alliance the number one real estate office in the Aurora area (number of units – source: Metrolist). Larry Duncan, managing broker for RE/MAX 3000, Inc., will oversee the transition to a single Aurora or SE Denver location in the near future.

RE/MAX 3000 was founded in 1981 by Larry Duncan and Mike Hardin, and was one of the first RE/MAX franchises in the history of the brand. RE/MAX 3000 has consistently been ranked in the Denver Business Journal’s list of top 25 residential real estate firms and Real Trends top 500.

“This merger offers numerous benefits and advantages for all parties,” said Larry Duncan. “First, RE/MAX Alliance is the leader in the use of advanced technology. The lead generation system on the Alliance website is one of the top systems nationally. Our brokers can now participate in the company’s insurance programs and 401k retirement package. We are now double in number and have become part of the largest independently-owned real estate company in Colorado. Joining Alliance will give our brokers many more opportunities to network with other Alliance brokers throughout the state, providing them the advantage of referrals from area to area. The ability to better negotiate with vendors for discounts in marketing materials and advertising costs is another key advantage of the merger.”

The company was also ranked as the second largest real estate company in metro Denver in the Denver Business Journal’s 2007 listing of the area’s largest residential real estate brokerages.
