Deadline Approaching for Power-Broker Ranking

Home News
By Maria Patterson
February 19, 2012
Reading Time: 3 mins read

As the February 24th deadline approaches for completing RISMedia’s 24th Annual Power Broker Survey, hundreds of leading real estate firms have already submitted their surveys, ensuring their spot in the preeminent ranking of the industry’s top residential real estate brokerages. To take the survey now, click here.

Survey respondents to date represent leading franchise brands and independent real estate brokerages from across the country. Among the top firms who have already completed this year’s survey are:

RE/MAX Alliance – Colorado
Houlihan Lawrence – New York State
Coldwell Banker Select – Oklahoma
F.C. Tucker Company – Indiana
Alain Pinel Realtors – California
Keller Williams Real Estate – Pennsylvania
Prudential Americana – Las Vegas
Realty Executives of Nevada
Real Estate One – Michigan
William Raveis Real Estate – Connecticut
Prudential Verani – New Hampshire
RE/MAX Prestige – Massachusetts

RISMedia’s Power Broker Survey is responsible for revealing real estate’s “who’s who.” Brokers must complete the survey by February 24, 2012 in order to be considered for inclusion in RISMedia’s 24th Annual Power Broker Report, a preview of which appears in the April issue of Real Estate magazine.

“Today’s skeptical and savvy consumer needs a real estate partner they can trust and turn to for information and guidance,” says RISMedia President & CEO John Featherston. “Inclusion among the industry’s upper echelon of real estate firms in the Power Broker Report proves to consumers—and prospective agents—that your firm is a successful, credible and dynamic organization to work with.

Survey Criteria
Distributed through RISMedia’s multimedia information-delivery channels, the Power Broker Report is read by more than 300,000 real estate professionals and thousands of leading corporate relocation decision makers. The report is also accessible to millions of interested consumers.

To complete the survey, firms must have completed a minimum of 500 transactions in 2011. Brokerages participating in this year’s survey should note that to avoid duplication and potential confusion, the Power Broker Survey should be completed by an individual, shareholder or entity with a minimum 50.1 percent ownership interest inclusive of subsidiaries. All sales and transaction volume comes directly from brokerages and is verified and substantiated by external sources, in most cases accounting firms, prior to publication.

There is no cost or any obligation to participate in this report.

The deadline for RISMedia’s receipt of your completed survey is February 24, 2012. To take the survey, click here.
