Another record-breaking backpack drive by Prudential Fox & Roach, REALTORS®/The Trident Group and Prudential Patt, White/Premier has resulted in 1,633 fully loaded backpacks collected, topping last year’s record of 1108 with a 47 percent increase, the company has announced.

Backpacks collected from the company’s Seventh Annual Backpack Drive have been delivered to Cradles to Crayons, in Conshohocken, to be distributed to over 250 organizations in the Tri-State area for homeless and foster care children.

“One in five children in our region live below the poverty line, making our annual backpack drive an important and gratifying staple of our company, enabling us to assist so many children in need and give them a backpack filled with supplies of their very own,” says Kassie Erb, President of Fox & Roach Charities. Since 2006, the company has collected over 6,000 backpacks and supplies for homeless/foster care children in the Tri-State.

“Having our largest backpack drive to date, it really reflects the generosity of our PFR/T sales associates, employees executives, families, friends and clients,” remarks Gerard Griesser, President of The Trident Group. Just imagine the pride and confidence that 1633 young students will feel on their first day of school as they carry their new backpacks.”

Fox & Roach Charities, a charitable foundation sponsored by Prudential Fox & Roach, REALTORS®, coordinated this project with the company’s sales associates and employees and partnered with Five Below, FlexBox Mobile Storage and Cradles to Crayons, (C2C), a non-profit organization that provides, free of charge, the basic necessities to children living in poor and low-income families. Fox & Roach Charities is funded solely by contributors and gives 100 percent of its proceeds to eligible non-profits across the tri-state region. It is thanks to the voluntary donations made by Prudential Fox & Roach/Trident, our sales associates and employees, and Fox & Roach Charities Board of Trustees that we have donated over $3.9 million to more than 250 non-profits.
