(MCT)—Songwriter, singer and former “American Idol” judge Kara DioGuardi has parted with her home in Studio City for $6.3 million.

Built in 1923, the 7,600-square-foot French chateau-style house was renovated and expanded by DioGuardi and her husband, home builder Mike McCuddy. The five-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom home sits on 3 acres with an infinity pool and a hot tub. Features include a 23-foot-tall stone fireplace, herringbone walnut floors and a sauna.

DioGuardi, 42, was on the panel of “American Idol” for two seasons starting in 2009 and was a judge on “Platinum Hit” in 2011. She has written hundreds of songs and worked with Celine Dion, Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Pink and “Idol” winner Kris Allen, among others. The record producer co-owns Arthouse Entertainment, a music publishing company.

Public records show that DioGuardi bought the property in 2004 for $3.5 million.

An Angel Lists Her Estate

Actress Cheryl Ladd has listed her 22.5-acre estate in Santa Ynez at $3.995 million.

The Italian-style villa, with 6,557 square feet of living space, sits off a circular motor court ringed with potted olive trees, Italian cypress and native landscaping. A large foyer overlooks a sunken living room. Features include stone fireplaces, a covered colonnade loggia, four bedrooms, five bathrooms and beamed and paneled ceilings.

Ladd, 61, joined the cast of “Charlie’s Angels” from 1977 to 1981. She plays Mrs. Claus in the holiday film “Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups” and stars this year in “The Perfect Wave.”

Actor Sells Home in Studio City

Actor Ethan Suplee has sold his Studio City house for $1.6 million.

Once home to Jane Fonda, the country English-style residence of 3,787 square feet was built in 1951 and sits on nearly an acre of wooded grounds with a detached office/guesthouse, a gym and a swimming pool. There are three fireplaces, seven bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Suplee, 36, appeared in the action-adventure film “Unstoppable” (2010) and starred in “My Name Is Earl” (2005-09). He starred last year with Mariel Hemingway in “Rise of the Zombies” and appeared in the series “Men at Work” and “Raising Hope.”

Public records show the property was last sold in 2006 for $2 million.
