NRT LLC announced recently that Laura Rittenberg has been promoted to the role of president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Long Island, N.Y. In her new position, the company reports that Rittenberg will oversee the daily operations, sales and business development of the company’s 14 real estate offices and more than 700 sales associates and employees. Rittenberg most recently served as regional vice president for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Connecticut and Westchester County, N.Y., overseeing the operations of 15 offices in Fairfield and Litchfield counties in Connecticut.

Rittenberg is replacing President Joe Mamone, who is returning to New Jersey and will serve as branch vice president for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New Jersey and Rockland County N.Y., which has 58 offices and 2,900 sales associates. Serving as president since 2007, Mamone achieved numerous accolades and business development goals for the Long Island company. Most recently, Mamone was the recipient of the 2012 NRT Diversity and Inclusion Award.

“Laura brings an incredible wealth of knowledge and experience to our Long Island real estate team,” says Maureen Passerini, executive vice president of the Northeast and Eastern Seaboard regions of NRT LLC, which operates Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. “She is a dynamic leader who has garnered tremendous respect from her peers, colleagues, and countless sales associates she has supported throughout her career. Under her guidance and progressive direction, I am confident that Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Long Island will continue to gain momentum in the marketplace.”

Rittenberg has more than 30 years of experience in residential real estate. In 2000, Rittenberg sold her Denver-based company to Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Colorado and joined the company’s executive team. Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Connecticut and Westchester County, N.Y., Rittenberg served as regional vice president and general sales manager for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage’s operations in Long Island from 2004 to 2008.
