Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, the new real estate brokerage network operated by HSF Affiliates LLC, recently announced that Colorado Properties is the network’s first resort-brokerage signee. Colorado Properties began operating as Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Colorado Properties this month.
Michael Slevin, the brokerage’s owner, said he chose Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices for its brand reputation, leadership and financial strength. “The Berkshire Hathaway name is known worldwide for integrity, trust and success, and we’re proud to attach that name to our own,” Slevin explained. “This is a once-in-a-lifetime brand opportunity we just couldn’t pass up.”
Slevin said the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices brand will resonate well with clients in all market segments, starting with affluent, second-home buyers who gravitate to the Vail Valley from metropolitan areas. The brand also will appeal to real estate professionals, added Slevin.
