RISMEDIA, November 5, 2013–Matt Rand, Managing Partner of Better Home and Gardens Rand Realty, announced the grand opening of the firm’s new state-of-the-art White Plains real estate office. The new office located at 222 Bloomingdale Road in White Plains will be an ultramodern gathering space with an open floor plan that will accommodate the flexible schedules and business needs of over 100 real estate agents. The location will feature the latest in telecom, TV displays, collaborative new age design and will have plenty of places to charge laptops, iPads and cell phones, all while exercising the latest in energy conservation technology.

“Real estate agents operate much differently today compared to how we did 10 years ago,” says Rand. “Mobile technology has advanced so much in the past 5 years that it has completely changed the way that we do business. Think about all we do with our smart phones and tablet computers; what could only be done in the office a few short years ago, can be done anywhere today. These substantial advances in technology have changed the way that our customers buy and sell real estate and have forced the traditional real estate agent workflow to change; we have made a significant capital investment in the future of our White Plains office to accommodate this phenomenon. By providing better environments with the latest technological advances, we are greatly improving the overall real estate experience for our agents and our clients.”

The office will boast a Central Cafe for client meetings and training sessions, Starbucks inspired work spaces, and a lounge area suitable for more relaxed, intimate meetings. There is an outside courtyard patio that includes seating for outdoor meetings and open-air work spaces. White Plains BHG Rand Realty agents and their clients will also enjoy free covered parking; a rare perk not available in many places in White Plains. The new White Plains office is centrally located with easy access to downtown and regional neighborhoods, making it a convenient place for agents to stop in, get some work done, meet with their clients or just grab a cup of coffee.

Rand summarizes, “At Better Homes and Gardens Rand Realty, we are not merely keeping up with our competition; we are innovating far past the status quo. We are creating a real estate culture that is powered by great people, innovation and collaboration.”

Better Homes and Gardens Rand Realty is a successful family owned and operated New York and New Jersey real estate firm operating over 25 offices throughout the Greater Hudson Valley. It was recently ranked as the 88th largest real estate firm in the United States according to a 2013 nationwide study of leading residential real estate companies conducted by REAL Trends, a trusted resource for useful and timely information used throughout the real estate industry.
