Pandra Richie, SCRP, SGMS-T, has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors for Worldwide ERC®, the workforce mobility association has announced. Richie is the president of Corporate Real Estate Services with Long & Foster® Real Estate, the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States, and previously served as Chair-Elect for the Worldwide ERC® Board of Directors.
“It’s an extraordinary honor to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Worldwide ERC, which provides tremendous support to professionals in the workforce mobility industry,” said Richie. “With the Board’s contributions, Worldwide ERC remains on the leading edge of providing outstanding educational, professional development and networking opportunities, and I’m confident my fellow Board members and I will make great strides for the organization in 2014.”
According to the association, Richie began her real estate career more than 25 years ago, working in a variety of residential and commercial real estate positions. She moved to the corporate side of the real estate industry in 1988, focusing on relocation and REO. Since then, she has served as a vice president with four major real estate companies, including her previous position at Long & Foster which she began in 2008. Richie was recently named president of the Long & Foster’s Corporate Real Estate Services, and in that role, she oversees the company’s relocation, REO and e-Real estate departments, as well as Metro Referrals and SMARTMOVE.
Richie has earned numerous awards during her career, including Worldwide ERC’s Meritorious Service Award and four Worldwide ERC Distinguished Service Awards. She was also inducted into the Worldwide ERC’s Hall of Leaders in 2010. Additionally, Richie holds the Senior Certified Relocation Professional (SCRP) designation and the Senior Global Mobility Specialist – Talent (SGMS-T) designation. In addition to her involvement with the Worldwide ERC Board of Directors, she formerly served on Worldwide ERC’s Foundation for Workforce Mobility. She has also served on numerous other Worldwide ERC committees and written several articles for Mobility magazine.
