Why Increasing Accuracy and Precision Is Key in Today’s Market

bullseye_accuracyWith a market that is constantly fluctuating and an inventory that is struggling to meet the demands of today’s buyers, it’s now more important than ever for agents to have the most up-to-date property data at their fingertips.

CRS Data, one of the largest public record companies servicing all regions within the U.S., has been working hard for the past two decades to put the power of clear and current property information in the hands of real estate’s leading professionals. Today, the company provides data for more than 500 counties across the country, with a reach that is constantly growing.

“With more than 25 years in the property data market, our depth and reach has expanded greatly in just the last five years,” says Matt Casey, CRS Data president and CEO. “We now serve MLSs with members ranging anywhere from 200 to 40,000, which means we have the capacity to work with any MLS.”

The company has a deep-rooted commitment to meeting specific needs for each MLS, and, as Casey explains, understands that when it comes to usability, one size does not fit all. The CRS Data team is able to tweak its product to create a customized solution for each MLS customer. While different areas of the country present unique market needs, they work with the MLS to respond to and identify those opportunities. A more refined and tailored product allows real estate professionals to spend more time prospecting, connecting with clients and closing transactions.

“Our more personalized approach to the business allows us to create a customized MLS tax approach that perfectly meets the unique needs of MLS members,” Casey explains.

Georgia MLS Membership Director John Ryan explains that CRS public data records play a major role in validating the accuracy of his company’s listing data, which is an invaluable tool—inaccurate data can cause a myriad of problems for real estate professionals, whose clients depend on them for precision.

In order to ensure verity, CRS Data continually updates county records with monthly sale and mortgage information, which, Ryan notes, is invaluable to his members. The proven accuracy of CRS’ information throws a safety net out for its members who can rely on the information being precise every time so that they can spend less time verifying information, and more time connecting with clients.

“It’s the combination of the quality and timeliness of the data, the comprehensive analysis tools, and the responsiveness of the entire CRS Data team that allow our members to stay central in the real estate transaction,” Ryan notes.

“The constant updating of the property records, combined with MLS listing data, provides the most current market snapshot of a property,” says Ryan. “This allows our members to provide the most accurate view of the property, thus making them integral to the real estate transaction.”

CRS’ flexibility is also appealing to members; the company works with their users to leverage the power of public-record data. “The flexibility of CRS Data has allowed the integration of public-record data and listing data across all Georgia MLS searchable platforms,” Ryan notes. “Through this data integration, our members have increased productivity and efficiencies by giving them the most current view of a property without having to jump from system to system.”

In addition to providing accurate, timely property information, CRS Data has also designed one of the most innovate sets of tools within the industry, with a suite that includes current tax information, detailed maps and other features that can be accessed on all browsers and devices, including Androids and iPhones.

The company’s CRS Data Real Estate Suite works to give agents a competitive edge by allowing them to view new listings, browse properties with an interactive map, find comparable homes and obtain several price estimates. Additionally, suite options streamline the prospecting process by allowing agents to print professional-looking reports and create mailing labels with ease.

The customizable aspect of the CRS Data Real Estate Suite was one of the reasons Ryan decided to partner with CRS Data. “Whether our members are residential or commercial real estate agents, residential or commercial appraisers, CRS provides a complete suite of products that produces the data needed for each of our members to better serve their clients.”
