REALTOR® Cindy Guy, and her husband, Doug, were recently honored by the Jacksonville Historic Preservation Commission at its annual awards ceremony for the renovation of their home on Riverside Avenue. The couple also received an Outstanding Home Renovation award from Riverside Avondale Preservation.

The Guys purchased the circa 1925 home in March 2013. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Realtor Margee Michaelis represented the seller. The Guys completed a major renovation on the home before moving into the home in September 2013.
“The home was in a state of disrepair because it had sat idle,” said Cindy Guy. “We had been looking and this home is perfect for us — we call it our forever home.”
The Guys are proud to be recognized for the renovation they completed on their home. Cindy Guy also believes Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty played a pivotal role in helping the couple locate the home.
