Homes.com, an online real estate resource and leading provider of enterprise-level solutions for real estate professionals and brokers, is now enhancing its marketing platform with listing videos. Homes.com is the first major real estate site to launch dynamic listing videos on a mass scale, increasing engagement and interactively reaching home buyers.

According to Cisco, online video traffic is projected to comprise up to 79% of all IP internet traffic by 2016. That high quality video content will be a necessary listing tool for real estate professionals to reach demanding consumers. The Homes.com listing videos provide house hunters with an engaging alternative for viewing home details and determining how each property stacks up against the competition. This new feature tells a story about every listing, providing much more than typical listing videos.

Videos are dynamically generated from listing photos and property details and include other valuable features, such as:

  • Prominent listing agent contact information
  • Instant access to buyers who submit the online request form
  • Local map view
  • Number of days on market
  • Local listing comparisons
  • Median list and sale prices of nearby homes
  • Extensive social sharing
  • Professional-quality narrator

All Homes.com Pro and Premier customers will be granted complimentary access to these videos.

“As technology continues to evolve, Homes.com will continue to look for new ways to create a unique and engaging experience for consumers,” said Brock MacLean, executive vice president of Homes.com and ForRent.com. “Sharing an engaging story about each home will not only enhance the home search process, but will also arm agents and brokers with distinctive tools to boost exposure, decrease days on market and get consumers into their dream homes faster.”

“VScreen is honored to have been selected by Homes.com as their partner in rolling out an automated listing video program for its advertisers,” said VScreen CEO, Stephen Schweickart. “Homes.com clearly understands the upward trend in video viewership online, especially via mobile devices. This partnership will meet the needs of both consumers and advertisers with innovative video solutions.”
