Pillar To Post Home Inspectors, North America’s largest home inspection franchise, was recently named on World Franchising Network’s list of the 50 top franchises for veterans. The list was featured in USA Today on June 20. Pillar To Post Home Inspectors was chosen for its number of veterans serving as franchisees within the system.
The World Franchising Network chose 50 franchisors from over 300 companies that were evaluated for the opportunity to be featured on the list. Participating franchisors filled out questionnaires that were used to obtain both the absolute number and percentage of total number of operating units owned or managed by veterans. Out of the 428 U.S. Pillar To Post Home Inspectors franchises, 34.8 percent, or 149, are currently either owned or managed by veterans.
Pillar To Post Home Inspectors participates in The International Franchise Association’s VetFran program, which helps veterans find franchise opportunities, and they offer a 10 percent discount on the initial franchise fee to veterans who qualify to become franchisees.

After welcoming 50 new franchisees in 2012 and 70 new franchisees in 2013, Pillar To Post has already welcomed over 40 new franchisees in 2014 with a goal of 100 new franchises opened by the end of the year.
