RISMEDIA, September 17, 2014–Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty surpassed its goal of raising $25,000 for Dreams Come True, an organization that fulfills dreams for children in Northeast Florida who are battling life threatening illnesses.
During the company’s 25th anniversary celebration year from August 2013 to August 2014, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty raised a total of $30,500 for Dreams Come True by making a donation for every closed listing and sale. Additionally, the company has extended its campaign to support for Dreams Come True for another year until July 31, 2015.

We are thrilled to announce our continued support to this amazing organization that makes dreams come true for deserving children in the region we serve.”
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty donated a percentage of each home sale to Dreams Come True. During the past year, the company sponsored four dreams for local children and the money raised will sponsor additional dreams that are in the development and planning phase. The dreams sponsored to date include Ranya’s Disney Dream, Tyler’s Swim with Dolphins and Disney Dream, Logan’s Batman Dream and Jacob’s Caribbean Cruise Dream. The dreams included all expenses paid vacation packages to theme parks such as Disney World and Discovery Cove or tickets for a Caribbean Cruise for the child and his or her family.

Through their generosity, they have helped us stay true to our commitment to never have a waiting list or turn down an eligible child.”
Since 1984, Dreams Come True has fulfilled more than 3,000 dreams for local children who are battling life threatening illnesses. Children are referred by their physicians and there is no waiting list. No qualified child has ever been denied a dream and 100 percent of the donations go to fulfilling the dreams of children in Northeast Florida.
