Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate recently announced the addition of a new franchise affiliate serving Destin, Florida, and surrounding communities. The firm, which will do business as Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Emerald Coast, is the newest brokerage to be added to the brand’s franchise network nationally, and the second affiliate in Florida to join the franchise in the past month.

The brokerage is led by owner and president John Holahan, who leveraged his extensive sales and marketing background to become a top-producing real estate sales professional in the area.

“Aligning with lifestyle-minded brokerages is crucial as we continue to expand our network,” says Sherry Chris, president and CEO of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate LLC. “The Destin area is an up-and-coming spot for vacation and second homes, and John and his team understand that home-buying and selling decisions encompass all aspects of life, including socializing, dining out, entertainment and a sense of community.”

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Emerald Coast is located on Gulfstarr Drive in Destin and serves the local communities of Destin, Rosemary Beach, Seagrove Beach, WaterColor, Sandestin and Seaside. The firm will seek to strategically grow its current base of affiliated real estate professionals throughout the Florida Panhandle by leveraging the infrastructure offered by the national real estate brand.

“Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate jump-starts us with instant national brand name recognition, along with the marketing and technology resources to enhance offerings to our clients in the areas that we serve,” says Holahan. “In a highly competitive market, our goal is to be the service-oriented, approachable company with friendly, tech-savvy and knowledgeable real estate professionals. Affiliating with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, and leveraging all of the systems, tools and support they have to offer, will help us achieve that goal.”

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Emerald Coast specializes in residential real estate, vacation properties and second homes along the Florida coast with access to major cities throughout the southeastern United States.
