Scott MacDonald, broker/owner/President of RE/MAX Gateway, recently announced RE/MAX Gateway will climb Mount Kilimanjaro in September 2015 to benefit children’s health and clean drinking water.
RE/MAX Gateway will “Climb For A Cause.” The climb will benefit Children’s National and The Last Well. Children’s National is based in Washington, DC, recognized for its expertise and innovation in pediatric care and as an advocate for all children. The Last Well is dedicated to providing Liberians with access to clean drinking water.
Why climb Mount Kilimanjaro? Scott MacDonald explains “At 50 you can get fat and lazy or you can go do something crazy. When challenged by Chris Dominick to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, I chose the latter. There is so much good that will come as a result of this climb. Children’s National Hospital and The Last Well will be the beneficiaries of our fund raising efforts so many local people, as well as, people we will never meet will be impacted – this is awesome in my opinion.
