Alex Chieng is a co-founder and leader of the A & L Real Estate Team with Coldwell Banker Prestige Realty in Vancouver. As a millennial with a real estate upbringing, he is focused on luxury projects and resales, as well as first-time homebuyers, and believes firmly in the power of relationships and service.
Chieng, a Certified Sales Executive (CSE), is a marketing master, building his brand and clients’ exposure through online platforms and print—both crucial facets in marketing property successfully, he says. Along with Coldwell Banker’s marketing power—including a partnership with Vancouver Whitecaps FC, a professional soccer team—Chieng’s efforts have international reach, specifically on Juwai.com, China’s largest portal for real estate. He is also an expert on social media, with an extensive online presence.
Chieng is one of the earliest and youngest members of the Forbes Real Estate Council, a consortium of experts in real estate. As a contributor to Forbes, he has been a panel participant on topics such as “Client Relationship Tips That Will Help Your Real Estate Business Flourish,” his “Favorite Way to Market Active Listings” and “Ways Virtual and Augmented Reality Are Changing the Real Estate Industry.” The Forbes Real Estate Council is by invitation only, with an audience of 6.5 million monthly visitors.
