Bonnie Chajet, associate real estate broker with Coldwell Banker Warburg, received the Henry Forster Memorial Award in 2023. The honor is given to a broker with an outstanding record of achievement and conduct in the real estate industry and the community.
In 2023, Chajet sold the apartment of late journalist Peter Jennings at the asking price less than a month after it was put on the market. Several prestigious media outlets featured articles about the sale.
Chajet has worked in New York real estate for more than 40 years. She collaborated with fellow broker and friend Ronnie Lane, and the two have been recognized as the longest-running partnership in New York City residential real estate.
Chajet routinely sells high-end properties in Manhattan and receives most of her business from referrals. In numerous cases, Chajet has sold apartments to parents, children and grandchildren in the same family. “It feels very rewarding to work with entire families,” she says.
