Chris Kelly is president and CEO of the Ebby Halliday Companies, which includes Ebby Halliday REALTORS®, Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate and Williams Trew Real Estate, as well as affiliated mortgage, insurance and title companies. Since taking on the role after HomeServices of America acquired the legacy North Texas powerhouse in 2018, Kelly has worked to shape the company’s strategy and direct operations, with a focus on driving future growth.

To help increase communications within the field, the company recently started a weekly video series titled “Real Estate Roadmap,” a bimonthly video series titled “Market Shapers” and a company-wide Facebook group page for sharing personal and professional stories. The company also started work on an entirely new consumer and agent technology stack and platform, entered partnerships to enhance services and made several organizational shifts.

Simply put, Kelly says, “Everyone is embracing new roles and new ways to communicate the amazing things happening within our company.” Kelly adds that he has a great team of leaders making a major impact. “My role is simply to empower our leaders and clear their path so they can be best positioned to drive the greatest performance and results from the sales professionals, departments and personnel they lead.”

Prior to heading the Ebby Halliday Companies, Kelly was an attorney in the Polsinelli Law Firm’s real estate and financial services group, chief legal officer and chief administrative officer at ReeceNichols Real Estate, and, most recently, senior counsel at HomeServices of America.
