In 2025, deTonnancourt spearheaded a transformative expansion by welcoming four independent real estate brokerages into the business family. This move included the landmark launch of the firm’s dedicated commercial real estate division. Simultaneously, he secured the future of regional real estate expertise by acquiring a longstanding local real estate school. Under his guidance, the school’s operations were completely reinvented, introducing a modernized curriculum and new instructors to provide high-level pre-licensing and continuing education for the next generation of practitioners.

With a 36-year career as an active educator and industry leader, deTonnancourt remains a vital voice in the Rhode Island Association of Realtors®. His commitment to excellence was publicly recognized in 2025, being named the top real estate company in the state by Providence Business News. In March of 2026, deTonnancourt transitioned his 300 agent, six-office firm from the HomeSmart brand to the REMAX network, now known in the marketplace as REMAX Revolution.
