DeAnn Golden

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties

DeAnn Golden, a senior vice president at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties and 2019 president of the Atlanta REALTORS® Association, achieved professional success and overcame personal hardships in the past year.

At BHHS Georgia Properties, Golden served as a sounding board for CEO Dan Forsman, mentored agents and played a significant role in moving the dial in the company from “the status quo to the status go.” The brokerage consists of over 1,700 agents and 25 offices.

“Each day in my life is one with purpose,” says Golden, a second-generation REALTOR® with 25 years of experience. “That purpose is to help execute change in the way we train and coach real estate professionals to better serve the consumer. All the while, constantly working to redefine what we do to evolve the traditional office environment and our platform of services for the use of the highly productive and mobile-enabled sales professional.”   

As president of the Atlanta REALTORS® Association, Golden helped the organization surpass 10,000 members, making it one of the top 25 largest associations nationwide. However, Golden notes the toughest achievement for her was the ongoing challenge of being a working mother of two after losing her spouse to illness two years ago.

“This juggling, which defines my daily life, now demands laser focus and great determination,” says Golden. “I have worked hard this past year to find my own life balance while providing stability for my two amazing children. I hope our example inspires others they can press forward too!”
