In 2025, Laurie Evans launched The Real Estate Studio, a boutique brokerage headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina. Evans builds her business, including her new brokerage, on a bold belief: luxury is not a price point, but a level of service. Drawing on nearly two decades of top-producing real estate experience and a deep background in hospitality, Evans reimagined the real estate experience as an art of care, storytelling and human connection.
Under her leadership, the firm debuted with two distinct divisions—The Studio for buyers and sellers, and The New Homes Studio, a specialized platform exclusively serving builders and developers. Both developers and builders are offered an “experience menu,” detailing, concierge-style services designed to elevate representation, protect builder integrity and enhance the buyer journey.
Evans’ hospitality-forward approach extended to sensory staging, curated client experiences, a cinematic launch video demonstrating the hospitality-driven mission, and thoughtful closing rituals that transformed transactions into lasting memories. Evans also pioneered a hospitality-driven recruiting and onboarding model, including a 30-day welcome experience.
“For me, it’s not just about selling a home, it’s about designing a feeling,” says Evans. “I’ve seen firsthand how the smallest details—a curated scent, a thoughtful gesture, a closing that feels like a celebration—can transform real estate into something deeply personal and unforgettable.”
