Luban Quiceno

Stars are guiding lights, markers in the sky that can show a better way, shining for everyone. That is how Luban Quiceno was recognized this year by the government of his home country of Colombia, receiving the Colombianos Estrellas award for his outstanding work in his community and industry. A consummate family man and leader, Quiceno runs his company on the principles of ethics, values, loyalty and trust, and those commitments spill out in all the rest of his life as well. From rallying his community of Palm Beach, Florida around beach clean-ups and food bank drives to elevating the city in the eyes of an international audience, Quiceno has proved that a shining light brightens everything around it. It is through valuing the greater good, he says, with everyone working together that the world can change.

“To inspire people to a different life—that is what we ‘treasure,’” he quips.
