Because of widespread division, Sherri Mills founded Live2Give in 2020 as a forum for people around the world of different religions, sexual orientations, genders, races, income levels and political beliefs to focus on what they have in common, ways to give back, and kindness to others and themselves. The pandemic prevented the group from holding in-person events, so Live2Give became a Facebook group.

Mills posts daily quotes to spur discussion. She plans to create a Live2Give business program to help consumers identify philanthropic businesses and to host events where members of the Live2Give community can gather in the spirit of fellowship and giving.

“If I can create awareness about the importance of giving, then the magic happens,” Mills says.
