RISMEDIA, July 12, 2007—Aram Minnetian, president of Weichert Relocation Resources Inc. (WRRI), a relocation and assignment management companies, has announced that Mike LeQuier has joined the company as regional vice president, Canada.

In this role, LeQuier will chart WRRI’s strategic direction in Canada, overseeing operations, service, supply chain management and new business development. He will be based in WRRI’s Toronto office, and report directly to Michelle Nerny, senior vice president, Mobility Solutions.

LeQuier has over 16 years of relocation experience, having previously served as director of Relocation Services for The Home Depot, managing more than 1,200 annual moves across the United States, Canada and Mexico. A highly-regarded, highly-respected leader within the U.S. and Canadian relocation industries, LeQuier currently serves as President of the Canadian Employee Relocation Council (CERC), the first U.S.-based representative to ever be elected to the organization’s Board of Directors.

“We are extremely fortunate to welcome a proven workforce mobility executive like Mike to WRRI,” said Nerny. “He brings the strategic skills, client-side perspective and expert knowledge of the Canadian marketplace that can help us build upon our reputation and position as the second-largest relocation services provider in Canada, and take us to the next level.”

“As a client contact with The Home Depot, I was truly a Raving Fan of WRRI, and I am thrilled to now be a part of this organization,” said LeQuier. “I look forward to working with my team to provide expert domestic, international and cross-border solutions to our growing client base in Canada, and exceeding their expectations.”

LeQuier holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Florida and the Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) designation from Worldwide ERC. He has also earned Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
