a la mode Provides Free Web Sites to Real Estate Agents

RISMEDIA, July 27, 2007—a la mode, inc., a real estate technology company, has announced the release of free Standard level Agent XSites Web sites for real estate agents.

According to a la mode, Free Standard level Agent XSites are not stripped down placeholder sites. They come with 24/7/365 support, a user’s own domain name, robust listings presentations, integrated blogging and other powerful lead capture tools and a proven, effective integrated marketing arsenal. The new free level of Agent XSites is a new way for real estate agents to take advantage of the industry’s leading technology to boost their success without a money investment.

“Real estate agents are realizing that it’s more important than ever today to use technology to strategically differentiate themselves,” said Rusty Lindquist, a la mode’s Vice President of Broker and Agent Products. “Competition today makes standing apart and standing out crucial. But tools that let you do that can still cost a ton.

“Removing the cost from our entry level Standard Agent XSite allows agents to harness the power of Agent XSites, with no investment at all,” Lindquist continued. “These are substantial Web sites. And they give agents who use them a considerable leg up on ones who don’t.”

a la mode’s free version of Agent XSites is built on the same powerful core XSite engine that has set XSites apart from the competition since their debut in 2003. But it’s what agents and their potential buyers and sellers can see and feel that makes the biggest difference, said Dustin Moore, Product Marketing Manager for a la mode.

“A Web site simply isn’t a Web site without a domain name, and any provider that tries to give you a Web site without one, is simply missing the point,” Moore said. “Five or 10 years ago, having your business e-mail address be from your ISP or a free Webmail site was acceptable. Today it’s not.”

Free Standard level Agent XSites also distinguish themselves with a la mode’s commitment to anytime, live, U.S.-based technical support, Lindquist commented.

“Agents aren’t often at their computers during business hours. Whatever time they need help with their free Agent XSite, we’re there to give it to them.”

Lindquist added that 24/7/365 live support is almost unheard of when it comes to sites agents pay hundreds or thousands per year for – and until now was nonexistent for free Web sites. “Providers that don’t stand by their sites 24×7 are missing the point, too,” said Lindquist.

“In today’s hyper-competitive market, it’s a nerve wracking experience for agents to try new marketing ideas, especially without help a phone call away,” Lindquist concluded. “Free Standard level Agent XSites remove this pain and solve a real problem for today’s real estate agent.”
