RISMEDIA, Feb. 29, 2008-SKY Sotheby’s International Realty announced that David Groelinger has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. He brings more than 25 years of substantial domestic and international financial experience to the firm.

Over his career, Groelinger has worked with many highly-leveraged, public and private companies handling capital markets transactions and investor relations. In addition, he has experience in a variety of industries such as transportation, hospitality/travel and consumer products and services. In his new position at SKY Sotheby’s International Realty, Groelinger will oversee all financial activities for the company, including the new auction division.

“As we continue to move forward on a path of strategic growth and expansion, we are pleased to have a seasoned professional like David join our firm,” says Roffers, president, SKY Sotheby’s International Realty. “His proven track record and financial management expertise is a great asset and will help propel our firm to even greater success, benefiting both our agents and our clients.”

Born in New York, Groelinger has held top-level executive positions in a number of companies. In addition to his new role at SKY Sotheby’s, he is also the Chief Financial Officer and Financial Advisor of Nederlander Worldwide Entertainment in New York, a position he’s held for the past five years. He has also worked for companies such as Regency Holdings Inc., Chiquita Brands International Inc. and U.M.W.A. Health and Retirement Funds.

Groelinger received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami and master’s degree in business administration from Hofstra University in New York.
