RISMEDIA, July 22, 2008-Equestrian Services, LLC, a company setting standards for the planning, design, delivery and management of equestrian amenities worldwide, announces its partnership with WTS International, Inc., one of the world’s leading spa, fitness and recreation activities consulting and management firms.According to the company, their offering, Equi-Spa Lifestyle Solutions, will provide a rare opportunity to connect horses with a spa environment to enhance wellness, personal awareness, relaxation, team-building and fitness benefits.

The Equi-Spa Program is different from existing spas, the company says, in that it offers individuals, families and corporations the experience of personal transformation resulting in:

Adaptation to Change with Stress Management Techniques
Improved Communication Skills
Emotional Well-being
Physical Strengthening
Enhanced Leadership Skills
Increased Team Effectiveness
Expanded Personal Awareness

Equestrian Services will provide the horses, facility development, programming and staff/management for the equestrian programs, while WTS will provide the consulting and management of the spa and other recreational amenities.

“Equestrian Services is thrilled to partner with WTS,” said Jennifer Donovan, co-founder of Equestrian Services, LLC. “The emotional connection between humans and animals has always been supported by anecdotal stories. Now, research studies are showing instances of the human-animal bond that are improving people’s attitudes, assisting in mental health therapies and are linked to better physical health. Being social animals themselves, horses can play a particularly interesting role in helping us not only to relax but also teach us useful communication tools that can be applied to other areas of our lives. WTS shares our vision to bring this rare opportunity to the spa experience.”

“One of the many challenges spas face today is how to distinguish themselves in a crowded marketplace,” said Donna Mastrianni, Equi-Spa Lifestyle Solutions, WTS International. “We are pleased to work with Equestrian Services and offer our expertise in developing spa and fitness activities. The Equi-Spa Lifestyle Solutions will be designed for not only the horse enthusiast, but also as anyone seeking a different way to get in touch with themselves or to have fun”.

The Equi-Spa offering will also provide corporate training programs that include leadership training and communication skills development through working with the horses. Other Equi-Spa programs may include Pilates tailored for equestrians; yoga on horseback; Tai Chi for equestrians; and lifestyle programming such as personal and/or group training; and life enrichment and lifelong learning seminars

Donovan added that developers and builders interested in the Equi-Spa Lifestyle Solution will have access to a menu of services and products available to them through this partnership. The services include equestrian spa site evaluation, financial models, equestrian and spa market demands and trends analysis, the creation and development of the spa menu and equestrian programs, and staff training, supervision and management.

Nearly 2 million people own the 9.2 million horses in the United States, with another two million people involved as equestrian volunteers or engaged in the equestrian lifestyle through family affiliation, according to the American Horse Council Foundation (AHCF).
