RISMEDIA, March 10, 2009-Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage has announced a new addition to their website www.californiamoves.com, detailed community guides that provide free online information for consumers in and around the major metropolitan areas of Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, San Francisco and Sacramento.

“Whether someone is relocating to a city 30 miles or 3,000 miles away, we are sensitive to the fact that settling into a new community can be challenging,” said Teresa Howe, vice president of relocation services for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Southern California. “Combined with the real estate expertise of our sales associates and our concierge website, www.conciergeservice.com, these online guides provide our clients with everything they need to know about finding the right community to fit their needs. We understand that it is not just about matching our clients with the perfect home – it is also about matching them with the perfect community.”

Access to the online community guides is free to the public. The guides include thousands of helpful Web links to local information and resources, including everything from school districts and sports teams to museums, shopping and healthcare. There are also links and contact information for local utility companies, municipal resources and government agencies. Information will be updated regularly.

“To locate the guides on www.californiamoves.com, users can click on ‘Explore California Communities’ and choose their county of interest,” said Howe. “The guides have a completely user-friendly layout, which makes it easy to find information fast.”

In addition to the online community guides, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage offers a full array of relocation services for individuals and families moving within California or from anywhere in the world. Whether the relocation is for a job transfer, retirement or a change of scenery, the company offers area counseling, needs assessment, home listing services, rental assistance, moving services, settling in services and home search assistance delivered by trained relocation agents.
