RISMEDIA, May 5, 2009-Back by popular demand, the Houston Association of Realtors® is bringing Dennis Walsh to Houston to spend five hours in a live training session to get students started on their Certified New Home SpecialistTM (CNHS) and Residential Construction CertifiedTM (RCC) designation courses.

“The greater Houston market offers tremendous opportunities for CNHS and RCC professionals. Ranked the #1 new home market in the US, Houston recorded 42,697 new home building permits in 2008 and is on track for a better year in 2009,” Walsh explains. “Those with the knowledge, strategies and systems can enjoy outstanding sales success working with builders, developers and new home buyers – and this will drive lots of additional resale business as well.”

Walsh, recognized as real estate’s authority on new home sales and residential construction, has presented to more than 80,000 real estate professionals and is known for his high energy and powerful strategies for making the most of current opportunities in real estate.

The CNHS course delivers real estate’s premier training for success in all areas of new home sales. The RCC course offers the most comprehensive training in real estate covering materials, methods, terminology and details of residential construction, as it follows the step-by-step construction of a home from the ground-up. Registration includes the five-hour live session along with the complete Residential Construction CertifiedTM and Certified New Home SpecialistTM Interactive CD-ROM courses – a total of 22 hours of powerful information, ideas, strategies and systems with a full money-back satisfaction guarantee. Students enjoy the easy-to-follow interactive CD-ROM format, filling out comprehensive certification workbooks as they go – and then complete online tests to earn:

-Certified New Home SpecialistTM (CNHS) Designation
-Residential Construction CertifiedTM (RCC) Designation
-One year RCC/CNHS membership (from order date)
-22 MCE Professional Designation Credits in the state of Texas
-Two units of elective credit toward the Certified Residential Specialist® CRS Designation

“For both new homes and resale business, many consider this training essential for both brokers and associates,” explains Teresa Walsh, company President. “This knowledge provides a foundation to communicate more confidently and professionally with buyers, sellers, appraisers, inspectors, lenders, designers, engineers and other construction professionals. This expertise positions them to most effectively help their customers make their best decisions – and sets them apart as true real estate professionals assuring both customer satisfaction and referrals.”

Dennis Walsh emphasizes the importance of this expertise. “True professionals in any business must know the products they sell. More than ever before, if we are to succeed, it’s imperative that we find the best ways to demonstrate our expertise and deliver on the promise of professionalism. It’s not enough to simply manage transactions successfully – in fact, that’s the very least our customers should expect.”

CNHS and RCC designation training and sales software are endorsed nationwide by many leading brokers and have been private-labeled by Coldwell Banker, Century 21, ERA, GMAC, Prudential and RE/MAX franchise organizations. The Council of Residential Specialists recognizes CNHS and RCC as equivalency courses providing credit toward the prestigious CRS professional designation.
