FrontDoor.com Expands Audience Through Partnership with Internet Broadcasting

RISMEDIA, June 26, 2009-HGTV’s real estate website FrontDoor.com now opens the door for millions of additional Web users to find the latest in home listings combined with trusted home-related videos and information. A new strategic content distribution partnership announced today will see FrontDoor content featured prominently across the Internet Broadcasting network of sites.

Launched in late 2007, FrontDoor has rapidly risen to become a leader in real estate Web services thanks to the demonstrated leadership and expertise of HGTV-seen in more than 95 million U.S. households and the No. 1 media resource for home and garden content-combined with a rich, video- and image-centric experience offering the best and latest in listings and real estate related information.

“Now more than ever, it is important for people to have a trusted source like FrontDoor to help navigate the challenges of buying and selling a property. We give users the ability to search nearly 4 million listings, but we also realize search is only one part of the process and are very focused on giving users information that helps them make decisions around the really tough issues they face today,” explains Vikki Neil, general manager of Scripps Networks Digital’s home category. “FrontDoor tackles challenging topics like how to price your home, how to stage your home for a quick sell, and how to take advantage of first time home buying tax breaks. With this partnership our complete real estate experience – offering both listings and content – will be available to an even wider audience.”
Internet Broadcasting helps television stations expand their local presence online, increasing traffic and ad revenue with a wide array of products and services built to drive a quality local online experience for both consumers and advertisers. Together FrontDoor and Internet Broadcasting will seamlessly deliver local listings and trusted, dynamic real estate content to local media websites.
