RISMEDIA, August 5, 2010—Prudential Real Estate and Relocation Services, Inc., a Prudential Financial, Inc. company, and Prudential Kansas City Realty, announce that Prudential Real Estate ranks “Highest Overall Satisfaction for Home Sellers Among National Full Service Real Estate Firms” in J.D. Power and Associates’ 2010 Home Buyer/Seller Study.
This marks the second time in the three years since J.D. Power and Associates began conducting the study that Prudential Real Estate was awarded the top ranking, previously recognized in 2008. J.D. Power and Associates’ 2010 Home Buyer/Seller Study measures customer satisfaction of home buyers and sellers with major national real estate companies. The study includes 3,096 evaluations from 2,817 respondents who bought or sold a home between March 2009 and April 2010. Overall satisfaction is determined by examining four factors for the home selling experience: agent (44%); marketing (30%); office (15%); and services (11%).
Among home sellers, Prudential Real Estate scored highest on a 1,000-point scale and received particularly high ratings from customers in the marketing and agent factors.
“This distinction underscores the satisfaction level and consistency of our network through challenging times in our industry,” said Jim Mallozzi, chairman and CEO, Prudential Real Estate and Relocation Services. “Affiliate to affiliate, our sales professionals are the local-market experts who market and price homes right, while providing attentive service.”
Prudential Kansas City Realty (PKC) President, David Cooper was also quick to praise PKC agents. “It’s so satisfying for our sales professionals’ hard work and extra effort to be recognized with such an honor, not once, but twice,” Cooper remarked. “I see the outstanding job that our sales professionals do for their clients everyday,” he continued. “Providing the highest level of customer service is a hallmark of Prudential Real Estate and it’s something we can all be proud of, especially at times like this.”
This latest honor comes just weeks after Prudential earned the distinction of having the highest average sales price in the nation, according to the 2010 Real Trends 500 study. The claim is based on analysis of transaction sides and sales volume data of the largest independently-owned brokers in the U.S. for franchise networks recording at least 25,000 closed transaction sides in 2009.
On the local level, Prudential Kansas City Realty tops the list for average sales price in Kansas City. According to The Kansas City Business Journal’s 2009 Book of Lists, PKC holds the number one spot among top residential real estate firms in the Kansas City area, with an average sale price of $232,231.
Prudential Kansas City Realty has seven branch offices with 500 sales associates and corporate headquarters located in Overland Park, KS.
