zipLogix, creator of zipForm®, the leading provider of electronic forms software for the real estate industry, recently announced that it has entered into a multi-year agreement to provide zipLogix Digital Ink™, powered by SIGNiX, to members of the Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR) Multiple Listing Service (MLS). As a membership benefit, HAR’s 24,000 real estate professionals will have unlimited use of zipLogix Digital Ink™, which has been seamlessly integrated with zipForm® real estate forms technology. This digital signature solution will help the members of one of the nation’s largest local REALTORS® association eliminate delays and get to the closing table faster.

According to Carlos Bujosa, Houston Association of REALTORS® Chairman of the Board, “The digital signature is a natural evolution in HAR’s continuing mission to develop or harness innovative technology that best enables our members to enhance their productivity and, in turn, benefit the real estate consumer with more timely transactions.”

There is great interest within the real estate industry for utilizing digital signatures to improve efficiency, reduce costs, save time, eliminate delays and provide better customer service. SIGNiX has worked closely with zipLogix to develop a deep integration with zipForm®, creating a signing experience that is easy for everyone involved in the transaction. A member benefit model makes it affordable for both state and local associations to provide this solution to their members.

“HAR welcomes the partnership with zipLogix and SIGNiX for the Digital Ink electronic signature product, providing another competitive edge to our members who strive each day to deliver better, faster and more satisfying service to their clients,” says Bob Hale, Houston Association of REALTORS® President and Chief Executive Officer.

With zipLogix Digital Ink™, HAR members will have access to essential tools to execute their contracts electronically with security, speed and ease. The product is a digital signature which offers security and long-term trust. A document is signed and that digital signature is permanently embedded within the document. It can never be separated from it, proving that the document has not been altered and thus ensuring that contracts are legally compliant and enforceable.

ZipLogix is working with a number of state and local associations on ways to provide zipLogix Digital Ink™ as an affordable member benefit.
