Savings All Around: Incorporating Lowe’s Program for REALTORS® into Every Transaction

In today’s marketplace, real estate agents must be forward-thinking and savvy in order to be successful. By incorporating the Lowe’s Program for REALTORS® into each and every real estate transaction, REALTORS® have a time- and money-saving tool that can raise efficiency and help them better serve any client.

Created exclusively for REALTORS® in partnership with the National Association of REALTORS®, Lowe’s Program for REALTORS® offers a full suite of time-saving tools to help REALTORS® better communicate with their spheres of influence. With a completely customizable direct mail and email platform, REALTORS® can send messages to all of their clients, including a special savings in the form of a 10 percent-off coupon for use in Lowe’s stores, customized with agents’ branding and any other desired information. By choosing a specific stage of the transaction as an action point, REALTORS® can be sure never to forget to pass these savings on to each and every buyer and seller they work with.

According to Barbara Bernashe, a relocation specialist from Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Belchertown, Mass., the Lowe’s Program for REALTORS® is a great service for all of the buyers and sellers she serves. When one of her buyers transferred in the military from Texas to Massachusetts, Bernashe was able to supply him with a discount coupon to put toward the purchase of a much-needed snow removal device. “He called me to say thanks. He was on his way to Lowe’s to purchase his new snow blower and was thrilled to use his 10 percent discount. The timing was great and it made me look good,” she says.

REALTORS® can also take advantage of gift card purchases through the Lowe’s Program for REALTORS®, which provides agents with a five percent savings on any gift cards purchased through the program.

“What a simple, yet personal, way to thank clients,” says Kristin Havelka of KRCH Realty in Sparks, Nev. “My most recent buyers have bragged to their neighbors about the discount I was able to give them and the gift card that helped get the renovations started. Lowe’s Program for REALTORS® also includes two popular enewsletters: Inside Out, a monthly business-to-consumer enewsletter, and Real Estate News, a two-day-a-week enewsletter full of industry news, housing trend information and more.
