RISMEDIA (July 24, 2013)- Calcagni Real Estate recently hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony on July 24 to commemorate the opening of its new office location on 630 Main Street, Plantsville. The Southington Chamber of Commerce and members of the local business community gathered for the event whose attendees included Calcagni agents, management and staff.
Calcagni initially expanded into the Southington market in late 2011, opening their fourth office at 722 West Street. In less than two years, it was apparent that to better serve their clients, and growing team of REALTORS, more office space was needed. In June, the company relocated its office of 15 full-time real estate professionals to the Plantsville section of Southington.
“The town of Southington has welcomed us with open arms and we are here to serve,” said Shirene Hazel, manager of the Southington office. “Our goal is to create a team of quality agents to meet the demands of a growing local real estate market. The new office is a spacious 3,000 square feet- much larger than their West Street location. The new location is a hybrid of a traditional office and a flexible virtual work environment, giving agents the option of working individually in their own quiet desk spaces, or working in open, collaborative team areas. The office is fully-equipped with wireless internet, a professional printer/scanner, a countertop with stools, conference rooms with flat TV screens and full-time expert support staff to make working on-the-go convenient for both agents and their clients. Calcagni’s Commercial department represented the tenant and landlord in the transaction.
