Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Community Realty Strengthens Pennsylvania Presence

Better Homes and GardensĀ® Real Estate just announced the addition of Community Realty to its franchise network. At the helm of the newly formed brokerage are co-owners John Colarusso, Phoenixville entrepreneur, and leading Phoenixville real estate sales professional, Jennifer Daywalt. Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Community Realty will serve the greater Phoenixville area, including Chester, Montgomery and Berks counties.

ā€œNow more than ever, as consumers’ needs evolve, the real estate industry must continue to shift with them,ā€ says Sherry Chris, president and CEO of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate LLC. ā€œBetter Homes and Gardens Real Estate Community Realty shares the vision of the ā€˜next generation brokerage,’ a concept that we have built our network around, and we welcome them to the brand.ā€

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Community Realty comes to the market with a hyper-local, lifestyle-oriented service approach to real estate during a time when the Phoenixville area is seeing a rebirth in business and residential growth, having transformed from its iron and steel manufacturing roots into the lively and bustling city center that it is today.

ā€œJennifer and I come from two distinct, but complementary backgrounds,ā€ says Colarusso. ā€œWith her knowledge of the local real estate market, my business expertise and the support of a nationally recognized brand, we have created a unique lifestyle-focused real estate brokerage that addresses the needs of the Phoenixville market and its surrounding areas.ā€

ā€œPhoenixville and the surrounding neighborhoods have been undergoing an exciting revival in recent years, yet from a real estate company perspective the consumer needs of this thriving area weren’t being met,ā€ says Daywalt. ā€œOur aim is to bring a fresh approach and new thinking to the real estate community, and Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate was the perfect match. This affiliation provides us with unparalleled technology, education and resources for our affiliated real estate professionals, and a well-known name that consumers can trust. It’s a franchise built on a brand that’s been an integral part of the American home since 1924.ā€

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Community Realty has opened with 15 affiliated real estate professionals and will seek to grow its office. The brokerage is currently located in the heart of Phoenixville at 221 Bridge Street, 2nd Floor and will relocate to 202 Bridge Street (and Main Street) in spring of 2015. The new location is ideal for walk-in traffic and has full-time staff and sales associates who are eager to offer customer assistance. It will have a Grand Opening celebration in spring 2015, with more details to follow. Playing an active role in the communities in which it serves is of utmost importance to the brokerage, which plans to support key community events such as the Dogwood Festival, Blob Fest, and local Farmer’s Market.
