Meeting and Exceeding Consumers’ Expectations

Meeting and exceeding the needs of buyers and sellers is more important than ever in today’s fast-paced market. And for Dave Sansom, CFO/COO of Carolina One Real Estate Services in North Charleston, S.C., zipLogix has been an integral piece of the puzzle when it comes to increasing the level of service his firm offers each and every client.

“The products offered through zipLogix have allowed us to meet the consumers’ expectation that their real estate transaction be handled in a manner similar to many other transactions they deal with—remotely and on their timetable,” says Sansom.

A partnership that’s been in place for more than a decade, Sansom notes that the decision to use the forms software program within his business came to fruition when their local association began using the state contracts. While zipForm® was a preferred vendor for online forms completion, Sansom goes on to say that their introduction to zipLogix and their products ultimately began with the firm’s migration from Zodas to relay® Transaction Management for document storage.

Today, Sansom and his agents rely on a handful of zipLogix’s products to streamline the forms process, freeing them from repetitive paperwork, allowing them to focus on what they do best—selling real estate. “We currently use relay® Transaction Management for compliance and document storage,” says Sansom, who explains that his agents are also heavy users of zipForm®, now the exclusive form software provider for their State Association and the state forms. With such a high adoption at both a company and local association level, some of his agents use zipLogix Digital Ink® as their e-signature solution because of the high level of integration.

As the real estate industry continues to become increasingly mobile, Sansom can’t say enough about the benefits associated with integrating zipLogix’s products into the day-to-day business routines of his agents.

“The freedom to operate anywhere and trust the security/validity of the documents and signatures that products like zipLogix Digital Ink® and zipForm® provide are by far the biggest benefits that agents and consumers see from these products,” says Sansom. “This, of course, leads to greater levels of efficiency and productivity for agents. And the consumer experiences a higher level of service when their needs for convenience are met.”

While making the decision to change course and step away from the established systems you may already have in place to do business can seem like a challenging proposition, Sansom says that real estate professionals can’t afford to not take advantage of the products offered through zipLogix. “Taking the plunge and making your business more mobile and flexible (and less paper based) will ultimately save you time and money and increase the level of service that your clients experience.

“We have had a good, collaborative relationship with zipLogix,” concludes Sansom. “Not only are they open to listening to our feedback, they’re willing to work our changes into the roadmap. And their training has been integral in helping drive adoption.”
