Best Apps for Real Estate Professionals

Businessman using tablet pc. He sharing or downloading applications, media and other information . cloud computing concept

Real Estate Professionals are always on the move—and no two days are the same. For hectic days, technology can make things much easier. Here are a few great apps for your phone, to keep you on top of your game:

1. RoomScan Pro- $4.99 for iOS

This app takes the guesswork out of floor plans—and draws them itself! All you need to do is touch each wall with your smartphone, customize with colors for individual rooms, drag in doors/windows and add in measurements. You can even export the finished floor plan as a PDF, complete with your additional comments.

2. Deductr- Free for iOS and Android

Do you need extra help keeping track of your eligible tax deductions and expenses? Deductr can do this, and may even help you avoid paying more taxes than you should. This app logs receipts and track mileage, with the help of your phone’s GPS system. On the Deductr website, you can create reports, mileage summaries and more. And when tax time rolls around, your tax preparer will love it, too!

3. Box- Free for iOS and Android

In Real Estate, it is essential to be able to share documents securely and quickly—even when you’re away from the office. With Box, you can view, download, edit and annotate files anywhere. Then, send those files to clients securely. Plus, you can preview your files without having to download them, saving time and data! Box even lets you set permissions on individual files, so you’re always in control of who can access information.

4. RPR Mobile- Available exclusively to NAR members

The mobile version of Realtors Property Resource is an all-in-one data source. With this app, you can search more than 160 million properties to uncover mortgage, historical and distressed data, flood zones, school information and more. You can even send a customized report to clients with your photo and branding. This app is included in your NAR membership dues, and only REALTORS® can access it.

5. LastPass- Free for iOS and Android

You probably have dozens of passwords, a different one for each website you access on a regular basis. With LastPass, you can access and manage passwords wherever you are, and sync them between your devices. You only have to remember one master password, while the rest stay safely away from prying eyes.
