Realty ONE Group has named industry veteran and seasoned communications professional Cory Vasquez vice president of Global Communications. Vasquez is the latest addition to the experienced leadership team as Realty ONE Group focuses on expansion throughout the U.S. and internationally.

“In order to inspire growth while encouraging our professionals to achieve greater success no matter where you are in your career, you need to start with your leaders,” says Realty ONE Group Founder and CEO Kuba Jewgieniew. “Cory’s substantial experience will add to Realty ONE Group’s leadership team. She is going to bring new and innovative ideas to the table as we focus our strategic efforts on growing both nationally and around the world.”

Vasquez has more than 20 years of communications experience in varying positions from media relations and product marketing to social media strategy and nonprofit fundraising. She spent the last 11 years with RE/MAX, LLC in Denver, Colo., and previously worked in corporate communications for Denver’s Fortune 500 DISH Network and was a key influencer in international strategy.

“I love working with a company that’s looking to challenge the norm and change the way an industry looks and thinks,” says Vasquez. “This is an incredibly passionate group of individuals, from the executive team to the office owners and real estate professionals. It’s a culture that a person can really thrive in and I hope I can make a substantial impact. I’m grateful for the opportunity.”

Vasquez will be responsible for managing overall communication strategies for Realty ONE Group headquartered in Laguna Niguel, Calif. She’ll also assist with events, overall marketing strategies and furthering the mission of ONE Cares, Realty ONE Group’s 501(c)3 charitable entity.

Realty ONE Group has added others to its leadership team last year, recruiting Chief Brand Officer David King and Director of Training Kathy Baker. The company now has more than 160 offices in 35 states and four provinces in Canada.

Because of its untraditional approach to real estate franchising and its unique business model, Realty ONE Group has entered the international market. The real estate franchisor has been on the Inc. 500 Fastest-Growing Companies list for seven consecutive years and was named a Top 5 Real Estate Franchise by Entrepreneur magazine.
