Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. has announced that Lauren Buchel has joined the company as the new regional director for its Midwest territory. Buchel will be responsible for providing strategic consulting to Weichert® affiliated offices in Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio to help bolster their respective local market presence and office sales growth.
Having spent the majority of her professional career in real estate, Buchel brings more than 25 years of real estate experience to her new role. She got her start in real estate at Century 21 Kreuser & Seiler, when she was tapped to be the director of the company’s real estate academy. She later rose within the company to regional director, where she was in charge of business planning, sales strategy, and agent training and retention for Century 21 franchises in Illinois and Indiana. Buchel spent her last 10 years at Century 21 as their agent development manager of real estate. She was responsible for coaching and mentoring agents to maximize their sales potential as well as recruiting new and experienced sales agents and brokers.

Buchel is a licensed real estate broker in Illinois and member of the National Association of REALTORS®. In addition to her work in the real estate industry, Buchel volunteers with the Easter Seals of Metropolitan Chicago and the Arthritis Foundation. She also enjoys gardening and spending time with her daughter, Nicole, and beloved Rottweiler.
