Bill Scavone has been named president and COO of Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc., the company recently announced. Scavone, former senior vice president of Franchise Development, will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies to grow the Weichert® franchise presence nationally.
“Bill has been an integral part of the Weichert Real Estate Affiliates team for nearly 12 years and has been instrumental in its successful development,” says Denise Smith, president of the Weichert Affiliated Services Group. “I am confident that Bill will continue to lead the Weichert franchise system on its upward path of prosperity and growth as he assumes this new leadership role.”

Scavone brings more than 25 years of sales and management experience to his new position, including 16 years working with franchise businesses. He joined Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. in 2005 as the senior vice president of Franchise Development and took on the role of chief operating officer in 2008.
Prior to joining Weichert, Scavone served as senior vice president of Franchise Development for Cendant Corporation, owner of familiar brands such as Wyndham, Avis and Jackson-Hewitt Tax Services.
