Zillow has added features for landlords and renters, including the ability to make online payments for rent.
“Renters tell us they want the entire rental process to happen online, from search to application to payment,” says Jeremy Wacksman, brand president of Zillow. “However, most landlords don’t have the resources to offer these services. We’re excited to provide the technology to help renters and landlords have a better experience.”
With the capability, there is a credit or debit option, as well as an automatic payment system. Landlords can set themselves up, and manage the process, through the Zillow Rental Manager.
In addition to online payments, there is now the ability to apply to multiple rentals with one application, within a 30-day window. The feature is $29, and includes a background check, credit report and eviction history.
