The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) will host more than 400 innovators, investors and REALTORS® at its inaugural Innovation, Opportunity & Investment (iOi) Summit, August 29-30 in San Francisco. Addressing issues in real estate technology—including artificial intelligence, augmented reality and virtual reality—the event includes a hackathon, for developers, and a competition for startups.
Sessions include speakers Leah Busque, founder of TaskRabbit; Xavier Becerra, California Attorney General; Karl Racine, Washington, D.C., Attorney General; Elizabeth Mendenhall, 2018 NAR President; Bill Brown, 2018 NAR Immediate Past President; and John Smaby, 2018 NAR President-Elect. Executives from DocuSign, Google and realtor.com® will also be on hand.
“One of my first initiatives I outlined when I became CEO was to bring the tech firms that many consider to be disruptors under the tent as innovators, and turn them into advocates for our members,” says NAR CEO Bob Goldberg, who will also speak. “The iOi Summit will identify technology tools and future advocates that are REALTOR®-friendly and help us advance our members-first mission. The future of real estate technology is rapidly changing and the iOi Summit is an opportunity to embrace, leverage and be part of the change that surrounds our industry.”
The iOi Summit is being held at Bespoke, Westfield San Francisco Centre. To register, contact 312-329-8524 or tcarpenter@realtors.org.
