RISMEDIA, May 24, 2007-Visient Corporation announced it has successfully launched www.alohaliving.com, a consumer real estate and vacation property site for the state of Hawaii, in conjunction with Hawaii Information Service.

Alohaliving.com was designed by Visient, Inc. to connect consumers with real estate professionals in a unique way. According to the company, the custom Web site and consumer portal is a perfect fit for the distinctive Hawaii real estate market where mainland and island consumers can connect with real estate experts who live and work on the islands.

The Vacation Rental Channel portion of the site offers extensive listings based on property type, rates, and location. Comprehensive information is offered on each distinct island as well as helpful travel tips including area attractions and weather reports.

“The mission of AlohaLiving.com is simple – connect people with properties,” says Beth Berry, director of Marketing for Hawaii Information Service. “With over 4,000 vacation rental listings already online, and the real estate channel quickly coming online this summer, we are looking forward to being the only place consumers will need to go to find real estate for sale or rent in Hawaii.”

Visient will be implementing additional channels for Hawaii Information Service which will coincide with the release of a new regional portal for the Gulf Coast of Florida in June. This Gulf Coast Regional Portal will be a consumer destination site for real estate and home services along with a real estate magazine servicing Sarasota, Manatee, and Charlotte counties. This one-stop shopping experience, blending the Internet with traditional media. With the launch of this site, Visient will have a scalable platform to quickly launch additional Regional Portals nationwide.

“Visient is partnering with brokers in a unique and revolutionary way to provide them with technology that has not been available on a regional market basis,” says Scott Waggoner, Visient Chairman. “This will allow the broker to capture the consumer, control their assets, and generate non-commission revenue.”
