(NCI), a publisher of printed and online real estate information in North America, has announced the acquisition of By Design Publishing, a personal marketing solutions company for real estate agents. With the acquisition comes the group’s two signature titles, Home by Design and Your Home and Lifestyle magazines. Together these brands deliver marketing tools to real estate professionals that help strengthen existing relationships and generate additional sales.
The acquired publications and capabilities will be incorporated into NCI’s offerings across all of its divisions, adding to its portfolio of websites, magazines and marketing tools in the Real Estate, Multi-Family and Home Design markets.

Brandon Lee founded By Design Publishing in 2002 and runs the company with co-owner Steve Swayne. Both are staying on to run these pieces of the NCI business.
The bi-monthly Home By Design magazine features articles on the latest trends in home improvement, home décor, recipes, and travel destinations. Each issue is personalized as a custom magazine with the cover, inside front cover, inside back cover, and back cover pages dedicated to promoting each real estate agent and their core business. Your Home and Lifestyles magazine focuses on remodeling and design, as well as lifestyle articles and recipes. Each monthly issue has two customizable pages: the inside front cover and the outside back cover. Together, they service more than 5,000 real estate agent clients.
