RISMEDIA, August 14, 2007—Real Estate Industry Solutions, LLC (REIS), a provider of strategic solutions for the real estate industry and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Florida Association of Realtors® (FAR), has announced that Linda Rohrbaugh has been appointed vice president of strategic initiatives and business development/general counsel, and that Tim McMullen has been appointed vice president of operations.
Linda will work with the REIS Board in implementing the company’s strategic direction as well as working with business partners, industry leaders and clients to develop innovative partnerships that enhance the Realtor experience.
“Linda has a unique ability to envision ways to translate market activities and trends into new business opportunities for Realtor members,” said Cathy Whatley, Chairman of the Board of REIS and past president of the National Association of Realtors. “She has been an invaluable resource for REIS and we are very excited about exploring some of her value-added initiatives with innovative partners.”
Prior to her appointment, Rohrbaugh was general counsel to the company through her law firm, Linda Rohrbaugh, P.L. She also spent more than a decade with the Florida Association of Realtors, developing strategic initiatives and products such as statewide contracts and standard business forms, the Legal Resource Manual for Real Estate Brokers and various Web-based services, and providing legal counsel in the areas of intellectual property, technology and broker license law. Rohrbaugh holds her Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida and an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Maryland.
Tim McMullen will also be a key member of the REIS executive team, overseeing the daily operations of REIS and working directly with REIS clients, customers and suppliers to ensure a superior customer experience. McMullen had previously been a product manager with REIS, and rejoined the company after serving at Radixx, a leading software provider to the airline industry, where he directed product development efforts. Prior to his experience with REIS, he spent eight years as a product manager for Sabre Airline Solutions, a software company with more than $2.5 billion in annual revenues. McMullen managed all project phases from definition through user acceptance, handling 70 customer accounts representing $28M in contract value. Some of Tim’s clients’ included Delta Air Lines, All Nippon Airways, Air New Zealand and Scandinavian Airlines. Tim is a graduate of Rasmussen College in St. Paul, Minnesota.
