ERA Franchise Systems Adds Three New Latin American Countries to Its Global Network

RISMEDIA, August 31, 2007–ERA Franchise Systems LLC has announced that it has signed a master franchise agreement with Sunstruck Ltd. to expand its franchise rights into three new countries – Belize, Mexico and Nicaragua. Sunstruck Ltd., headed by Craig Williamson, currently holds the master franchise rights for Costa Rica and Panama.”We are thrilled to build further upon the strong foundation we have with ERA in Latin America,” said Brenda W. Casserly, president and chief executive officer, ERA Franchise Systems LLC. “Expanding our affiliation with Craig Williamson and his team will enable us to strengthen the ERA brand throughout the region and it underscores our commitment to international growth. We’re proud that new affiliates in Belize, Mexico and Nicaragua will soon be part of the ERA international family.”

Tourism has long been a major income generator for Mexico and Central America. A healthy tourism trade typically generates interest for foreigners looking to invest in real estate and boosts the development of luxury homes, hotels, and resorts, mostly in coastal areas.

“The real estate markets in this region are so dynamic, and it is an exciting time to be involved with their growth and development,” said Craig Williamson, president, ERA Costa Rica and Panama. “By adding additional markets to our ERA portfolio, we are able to leverage our current success, while introducing the brand for the first time to new markets. We look forward to working with Brenda Casserly and her team to capitalize on the growth potential of Central America, and bring a premium real estate experience to new customers in these countries.”
