Julie Quigley Joins Houlihan Lawrence Real Estate

RISMEDIA, Sept. 25, 2007-Houlihan Lawrence, one of the largest independently-owned and operated residential real estate service providers in Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess counties, announced that Julie Quigley has joined as Licensed Salesperson in the firm’s Scarsdale office.

Quigley joins the Houlihan Lawrence team where she will be responsible for the sales and marketing of single family residential properties in Scarsdale, Edgemont and the surrounding areas. She specializes in relocation and first time buyers.

“I am happy to join Houlihan Lawrence and feel that this is an environment where I can continue to learn,” says Quigley. “I am thrilled to be working with some of the best in the industry and to be a part of the Houlihan Lawrence team.”

“We are confident that Julie will be a success here, and know that with her experience and knowledge in the real estate field, she will be a huge asset,” adds Branch Manager Lewis Arlt.

Before joining Houlihan Lawrence, Quigley worked at Coldwell Banker Doernberg in Scarsdale for five years. She is a member of the Westchester Putnam Multiple Listing Service (WPMLS) and has been a past recipient of the WPMLS Gold Award. She was also a Coldwell Banker “Sterling Society” member.

Quigley is a resident of Scarsdale and is a very active member in her community. She is a former president of the Scarsdale Middle School Parent-Teacher Association and has served as a member of the Parent-Teacher Council for the Scarsdale schools. Currently, Quigley chairs the Advisory Council on Youth for the Village of Scarsdale, as well as co-chairing the Scarsdale Task Force for two years. She is also a board member of the Scarsdale League of Women Voters, the Scarsdale-Edgemont Family Counseling and Citizens Nominating Committee and the Scarsdale Town and Village Civic Club. Additionally, she is a Girl Scout troop leader and sits on the St. Pius X Parish Council.

Quigley graduated from the University of Florida in 1981, where she received a BS in Journalism.
