New Initiative Expands RE/MAX Presence in Luxury Home Market

RISMEDIA, Dec. 6, 2007-RE/MAX of New England has officially introduced The RE/MAX Collection, a new luxury real estate brand. This new initiative aims to expand RE/MAX presence in the luxury home market. The brand has a distinct logo, unique house marker and specific marketing materials to create awareness among discriminating high-end and specialty consumers.

“We are happy to have a distinctive brand for our agents to use in marketing high-end homes in New England,” said Jay Hummer, executive vice president and regional director of RE/MAX New England. “We see exceptional value in training our agents to serve specialized markets such as this one and to providing them with the best tools to do so. These clients demand a level of service, expertise and attention to detail that reflects the quality of the properties they are buying or selling.”

According to the company, the RE/MAX Collection will allow agents to deliver a new level of excellence in real estate service. Waterfront estates, mountain retreats and golf course homes often require special knowledge and marketing savvy.

“RE/MAX of New England is proud to announce this new luxury home market initiative,” said MaryAnn O’Callaghan, RE/MAX collection manager. “In an effort to expand the brand specifically in Massachusetts, RE/MAX of New England is working with Boston magazine and other outlets on marketing opportunities for The RE/MAX Collection homes. People who drive performance automobiles and enjoy fine cuisine will appreciate the first class treatment our RE/MAX Collection will provide.”

According to the company, more RE/MAX of New England agents hold the Certified Luxury Home Market Specialist (CLHMS) designation from the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing than any other real estate brand. This international certification includes coursework and proven verification of performance requirements. Certification also gives the participant membership in the Million Dollar Guild which expands their networking and educational opportunities.
