RISMEDIA, Dec. 20, 2007-Realty Executives announces that Fafie Moore, president and broker/owner of Realty Executives of Nevada, will serve as chairman for the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce in 2008. Moore will be just the fifth woman in the history of the chamber to be elected to this position and only the second person in real estate to hold this honorable office.
In addition to running one of the most successful Realty Executives brokerages, along with her husband Jeff, Moore is an active member of the Las Vegas community and serves on many community and professional boards including the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors, Women’s Council of Realtors, FIT for Tomorrow and the U.S. Civil Rights Commission – Western Regional Advisory Council.
“I very much believe in the work the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce does and having the opportunity to serve as chairman in 2008 has been a long-term goal for me,” said Moore. “During my tenure as chairman my objective is to create an abundance of opportunities for Las Vegas professionals to network and enjoy growth in their businesses and, to represent the Realty Executives family and the Realtor community well.”
